BIG UPDATE – Callahan/TXBK

March 23rd, 2009 § 0

Big update here for you all! I just uploaded a bunch of photos from the show the other night with Callahan and A Textbook Tragedy. Callahan is probably my favorite hardcore band, so i always have a lot of fun during their shows.
If you haven’t heard of them yet, make sure you stop by their myspace and get blown away. www.myspace.com/callahanband

Callahan

Just got home from shooting Callahan and A Textbook Tragedy at Corner Pockets. I have so much fun shooting Callahan. They’re set is so insane and the music is amazing. I almost lost my voice from singing so loud while shooting.

I’m gonna post some photos from the show either tomorrow or monday when i find time away from work. I need to send my camera back to Canon and try and get it fixed since I will apparently never be able to afford a new one. So i might be camera-less for a while..

St-Patty’s day!

March 17th, 2009 § 0

Just a little post..
St-Patty’s day today! Amanda and I decided to make some green pancakes for breakfast and take a couple of photos before heading to town. My room is really messy so I had no room to set up any lighting. Amanda just wanted a shot with her sunglasses. She’s actually Irish, so her mom bought her a little tiara for st-pat’s. She broke it though.

I finally had the chance to skate some dry concrete today with Trevor and Mike and it felt soooo good! I can’t wait for all this shitty white stuff to melt away!

Lesson Learned..No photos today

So tonight I was suppose to be photographing the show with This is a Standoff and Millencolin. Unfortunately that wasn’t in the cards for me. Being a young photographer, sometimes things just can’t go the way you hope for them to. Tonight’s show was a 19+ show, and even though I was in contact with the band, there was nothing I could do to gain access to do my job.
The only issue I have is that there was no way around this. I never drink at shows, before or during. Even when I go to enjoy them, that’s what I do. I care too much about the music I’m watching to be impaired during the performance. This show was no different. I missed my 2 favorite bands because I was too young.

Anyways, lesson learned. Luckily this won’t be an issue for very much longer.

Where am I?
